Sales Coordinator

Position Summary:

Interact with customers to gather information critical to accurate and timely job processing.
Act as internal and external liaison for customers and internal departments. Responsibilities include ensuring that
all required documentation and critical details are communicated clearly and timely to all groups such as Quality,
Production, Warehouse/Shipping-Receiving. Closely monitor all aspects of job to ensure customer satisfaction.
Receive and process purchase orders and develop Sales quotes. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong working relationships with customers to understand requirements. (May be required to
    travel to the customer, facilitate on-site meetings)
  • Handle all customer calls; respond professionally to inquiries and special requests from customers.
  • Develops quotes based on information provided by the customer and the Operations team.
  • Ensure timely receipt of orders and entry into the computer system and Quick books, reviewing PO per the
    customers pricing structure for accuracy.
  • Update customer on status of their Purchase Orders and relay any production issues.
  • Communicate with purchasing on new artwork, print plates, bulk and secondary packaging.
  • Maintains an active Sales price list.
  • Monitor inventory and purchasing as needed on all Praxis supplied materials and all customer supplied
    inventories.
  • Work with Production and Quality Assurance on work instructions.
  • Work closely with Master Scheduler and Operations to ensure schedule and job completion meets
    customer needs.
  • Works actively with Operations, Quality, and Logistics to ensure completion of customer orders.
  • Performs any other functions and duties assigned and necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of Praxis
    Packaging Solutions.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination preferred
  • 3-5 years Customer Service, Account Mgmt. or similar experience required
  • The ability to work independently, without supervision required
  • Ability to organize priorities and workload required

Computer/Communication Skills:

  • Professional phone and email etiquette
  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook, PowerPoint preferred
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) related software, preferred
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to speak, read and write English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with
    supervisors, employees, and customers: to include reading and writing skills to understand and complete
    necessary customer paperwork, required
