Job Description

Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP (PRA) offers the opportunity to work on exciting and inspiring projects in architecture and interior design within a work culture that promotes collaboration, growth and flexibility. The Project Specialist I is a support position for the Project Manager and/or Project Architect in the production of construction documents and drawings. This position interacts and takes direction on project related issues from the Project Manager and the Project Architect on specific projects within the team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Produce construction documents using Revit/BIM processes
  • Produce schematic designs
  • Produce graphic depictions including perspectives/renderings/photo-realistic renderings from Revit model
  • Build understanding of quality document checking
  • Product and code research including local ordinances
  • May contact consultants and engineers
  • Understand and utilize standards
  • Some field investigation
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in architecture
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents as wells as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before project team with minimal client communication
