Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator provides support to all PRA offices and studios in their efforts to expand the firm brand, solicit new business and maintain existing business. The Marketing Coordinator will assist with managing the firm marketing plan by organizing project proposals, project interviews, collateral, tradeshows, advertisements, client research and speaking engagements for the firm.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop proposals in response to request for proposals (RFP) or request for qualifications (RFQ). Complete all necessary research, data collection, editing and ensure timely submission. 
  • Develop industry event details and related marketing strategies including trade show booth displays and giveaways, regional client events, and other company hosted displays and activities
  • Create content for all forms of marketing ads and campaigns, including message, theme graphics and illustrations
  • Create and maintain the supply of marketing collateral and sales support materials
  • Develop and maintain all branding materials. Monitor communications and materials to ensure brand consistency.
  • Initiate, track, and measure effectiveness of internal and external marketing and communication plans
  • Maintain and update company website to maximize exposure and effectiveness. Create content for company website, social media pages, blog, and newsletters
  • Assist in research of target markets and prospective clients and communicate results as directed
  • Assist in research of new avenues to expand the company brand and communicate results
  • Attend client or firm events as needed to represent firm or cover for media purposes
  • Coordinate public relations activities such as news releases, announcements, publications
  • Maintain project photography library and coordinates photography, as needed
  • Work in a highly interactive and cross-functional position, collaborating with multiple team members across departments and offices
  • Support work of other Marketing Coordinators to ensure firm marketing plan is successfully being executed
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Three years of experience in the marketing field preferred
  • Experience in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry with producing proposals is preferred or strong interest in learning the architecture and design industry
  • Proficiency in the following software applications: Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Google Analytics, Search Console, Ads, LinkedIn Ads, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Pinterest, Issuu, ESRI ArcGIS, Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, Semrush, WordPress, and ability to learn others as needed
  • Strong graphic design and digital marketing skills
  • Ability to evaluate assignments and to prioritize workload based on a definite timeframe for completion
  • Strong teamwork ability. Willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction. Also seeks input from others to expand knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to advise management in developing strategic plans
  • Experience creating and executing a marketing plan
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively to target audiences
  • Ability to create articulate written project summaries based on information gathered
  • Advanced copy editing/proofreading skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment
  • Continuous learning mindset to acquire industry knowledge and apply to marketing materials
  • Capacity to work independently and take ownership to solve problems

Physical Requirements:

Reasonable Accommodations may be made to allow individuals to complete essential job functions. May require the ability to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk and manipulate (carry, lift, move) light to medium weight of 10 to 30 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate technical equipment, read technical information and to analyze complex data, as well as, good hearing and speaking abilities to exchange information accurately through emails, on the phone or in person.

Work Environment:

 Duties and responsibilities generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required.

This position has the ability to work in either the Milwaukee or Madison Office with the flexibility of working 1 day per week remotely.
