SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES
- Responsible for coordinating all non-entertainment promotions at Prairie Knights Casino as directed by the Director of Marketing
- Assist in the creation of new promotional events. Work with the internal Marketing team on the setup and implementation of monthly gaming promotions
- Ensures promotions and events are creative, vibrant and bring energy to the property.
- Determines scheduling and staffing needs to ensure proper service of promotions and events.
- Working with other departmental Directors to promote in-house specials and or events for Lodge, Feast of the Rock, Hunters Club and Tatanka Sports Bar
- Participate in local Chamber of Commerce events, ND Tourism, and other regional tourism and business development activities as an ambassador of PKC and SRST
- Assist in promotional tracking and analysis of events based on key metrics.
- Create, manage, and modify reports for promotions and events that measure business development and gaming growth.
- Continually monitor and evaluate promotional results and provide recommendations on how to develop, grow and or modify current or new programs.
- Maintains an ongoing Promotion and Events Calendar. Prepares all rules and regulations for Promotion and Events and communicates these rules to all in-house team members and guests.
- Communicates all information relating to Promotions and events to all operating departments. Assures all personnel are equipped to address customer concerns.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
PREREQUISITES
General: Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for Tribal Key Gaming License.
Education: Baccalaureate degree in marketing or communication. Work experience in addition to that required, below, may be considered in lieu of formal education. Must be able to communicate in the primary language of the Enterprise.
Experience: Two or more years of Marketing/Entertainment experience in the gaming or hospitality industry required. Experience in the utilization of casino player tracking system data preferred.
Skills and Abilities: Must have strong leadership, organizational, communication, human relations and decision-making skills. Must be detail oriented. Exceptional service attitude and superior people skills. Must have public speaking experience. Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency for task completion. Must be able to work a flexible schedule which would include holidays, weekends and evenings. Willing to travel for training and or participate in offsite events or tradeshows. Must be able to obtain a key gaming license as required by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Gaming Commission.
Physical: Requires normal manual and finger dexterity, and normal (or corrected to normal) visual acuity and hearing. Abilities also require lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds rarely, with assistance.
