Maintenance Technician, Shelby Township MI

Starting pay: $30.00 per hour plus a $.50 shift differential.

Shift: 9:00pm - 6:30am Sunday - Friday (6 day schedule)

As aMaintenance Technicianyou will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance per schedule and instructions through "Emaint"
• Uses appropriate tools and equipment in performance of maintenance duties.
• Maintains building systems in good working order
• Promotes and utilizes 5-S standards for the line to improve efficiency, cleanliness and safety
• Follows all OSHA and corporate safety guidelines and assist in safety concern rectification and preventative measures
• Assist production in Continuous Improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance is preferred
• Ability to do basin math is required
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to use both forklift and manlift
• Ability to use basic toold (ie: Grinders, Drills, Wrenches, Saw)
• Basic computer knowledge (e-mail, ability to use E-Maint with training)
