Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Proofer to join our team. The Proofer will be responsible for overseeing the content creation process, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the required style guides.

Duties:

• Proofread and Edit Artwork and other materials
• Compare and check paperwork
• Inspect Plate files for printing issues
• Communicate with Designers about art edits and fixes
• Knowledge of Insite, Kodak Prinergy
• Track jobs to keep plates on schedule
• Work under high pressure to meet fast deadlines
• Maintain good working relationships with production, sales, and customer service
• Must be able to work with others and follow instructions
• Understand and recognize traps, stepping out, repeats, and prepress issues
• Understand the production process

• Must be willing to learn new skills
• Must organize and track assigned jobs
• Must be detail-oriented and proactive
• Willing to understand the production process
• Willing to work under high pressure to meet fast deadlines
• Basic computer knowledge
• Understand Spelling and grammar
