Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team. As the Front of House Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. Duties:
- Supervise all front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and service standards
- Ensure that all guests receive prompt and courteous service
- Monitor dining room activity to ensure efficient seating and timely service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Oversee inventory management for front-of-house supplies, such as menus, napkins, and condiments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and restrooms
- Implement strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is required
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and health codes
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in training new employees
