Power3 Solutions and Partnering Companies is Hiring a Growth Director Near National, MD

We are looking for an experienced Federal Growth Director to join our team. You will be responsible for finding and qualifying federal contract leads, utilizing a suite of tools; and building a multi-million dollar federal contract bid pipeline plan. Must have the ability to use experience in federal contract sales and business-related roles to contribute innovative ideas towards the company’s growth. As a growth director, you should be organized, have strong presentation and communication skills, able to develop strategies around a client, and have the persistence and patience to nurture these relationships. You should be able to facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.Responsibilities:
  • Executing all aspects of developing a multimillion dollar robust solicitation pipeline to include conducting market research via GovWin, SAM.gov, FDPS.gov, etc.
  • Delivering monthly sales metrics, to the Executive Team
  • Working directly with Business Development Manager / Market Lead to conduct all aspects of business development activities and proposal response efforts to expand company’s footprint
  • Navigating various government contract vehicles (such as OASIS, GSA eBuy, DHS PACTS, etc.), to include developing contract vehicle strategy of current contract vehicles and adding new contract vehicles
  • Establishing, developing, and growing new business relationships with influential contacts within target public sector accounts / government agencies
  • Developing new and maintaining current government & Teaming Partner POC relationships
  • Attending government agency industry days, match making sessions, and conferences
  • Conducting marketing activities to include online and in-person presentations
  • Becoming an expert on company’s capabilities, past performance, and current contracts
Basic Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of experience with federal government business development and proposal response development, preferably at a Fortune 500 Consulting Firm
  • 3 years of experience working directly with government Point of Contacts (POCs) on marketing and business development initiatives
  • 3 years of experience researching, data gathering or analysis, and strategy development related to pipeline development
  • Established government POC contacts, preferably at Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of State (DoS), and Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)
  • Being results-driven, competitive, and comfortable developing new relationships over the phone, via email, and in person
  • Experience leading meetings with public sector senior executives, both in person and online
  • Familiarity with government contract vehicles such as OASIS, GSA eBuy, DHS PACTS, etc.
  • Familiarity with GovWin, SAM.gov, and FPDS.gov
  • Familiarity with company’s core capabilities to include Business and Financial Operations, Administration and Project Management, and Information Technology
  • Superior time management and organization skills while constantly striving for improvements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced work environment contributing to the development and implementation of new processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Being a self-starter taking ownership of assignments and working proactively to accomplish goals
  • Experience preparing and briefing senior leadership
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
