Job summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain of parts and ensuring the availability of parts for repairs and maintenance. Your role will involve sourcing, purchasing, maintaining accurate inventory records, and shipping and receiving. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repair and parts procurement management.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing, negotiating prices, and placing orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet demand
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to identify required parts for repairs and maintenance
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Perform data entry tasks to update inventory systems and track parts usage
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Assist with warehouse management, including organizing and maintaining a clean and efficient parts storage area
