Power Motive Corporation is currently seeking a Heavy Rock Crushing and Screening Aggregate / Material Recycling Field Mechanic in our Denver, Milliken, locations. The Mechanic selected to fill this position is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, reconditioning, overhaul and maintenance of customer and company owned Crushing and Screening equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES UNDER MINIMAL SUPERVISION

• Uses safe working practices and follows all company safety requirements in troubleshooting, inspecting, and preparing for rebuild, and / or repairing of the equipment
• Complete disassembly and assembly of Rock Crushers, Screens, and material handling equipment relative to the Crushing and Screening industry.
• Includes Hydraulics, Engines, Power distribution components, and electrical systems.
• Repairing them using manufacturer guidelines
• An understanding of application in the industry, and of what / how the machine is designed to work. Determine most cost-effective repair using manufacturer guidelines Inspection of parts for reuse and salvage, ability to develop complete and accurate repair quotes

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel on short notice
• Must comply with DOT laws and regulations that apply to a 33,000 GVW service truck
• Must be detail oriented
• Must have computer/writing skills for writing complete and thorough service reports detailing repair performed look up machine diagram(s), identify, and order parts needed for repairs electronically
• Accurate completion of quality control check lists
• Minimum Experience/Education Preferred but not required: High School Diploma or GED Post-secondary education degree or certificate in diesel or automotive or a combination of education and One to Three years in heavy equipment engine, electric power generation systems, or crushing and screening repair.
