You will help administer our companywide leadership development program and serve as a career coach along the way.

position details / responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management to administer key career initiatives such as Apprenticeship Programs, Credential Management, and Operational Experience Program.
  • Identify education requirements for all applicable jurisdictions for construction related licenses and coordinate with all license holders to ensure that the continuing education requirements are met in each jurisdiction.
  • Build relationships, expand network, and utilize influence to motivate and support employees working towards licensure.
  • Work with Career and Learning team members to analyze development needs, develop learning solutions, and evaluate knowledge transfer.
  • Work with the Learning Design & Technology teams to create program content and resources.
  • Coach employees through their development process to ensure successful transfer of performance and career development knowledge.
  • Work with key stakeholders internally and externally to market the career development and apprenticeship programs.
  • Partner with business leaders and project teams to provide reporting, analytics, and data to help drive business decisions.
  • Manage data and metrics and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate training sessions that range from one on one to large groups as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

here’s what we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university as well as 1-2 years’ work experience.
  • Possess excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Bi-lingual preferred. Not required.
  • Have strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Ability to be detail-focused, extremely organized, and able to multitask and deliver results in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment with very strict, changing deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); knowledge of learning management systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.
  • Willing to provide supplemental instruction in the evenings
