This is a full-time position for a Powder Coating facility. We are looking for someone that has strong leadership qualities and a great attitude that will jump in and lead as well as listen to how the business flows and meets the daily operational needs of the company. This candidate will have previous plant management experience. Preferably some kind of finishing and coating process experience as well as organizational flow of work process from beginning to end. Pay will be discussed in the interview and determined by experience.
Qualifications:
· Supervise all personnel on the floor, define their work role and hold them accountable.
· Provide a system of paperwork (travelers) from acceptance of work to be done to its flow through the plant to its completion documentation.
· Determine the work process for each project as it may differ depending on the metal provided and what is being requested to be done.
· Require all area supervisors to provide plant management a list of all powders, supplies, equipment, (repairs, replacement, new) needed at end of each day.
· Write up all disciplinary actions for the employees the day the action occurs and determine if employee termination is required. Give it to the owners for review.
· Assess the workload and priorities on a daily basis. Discuss any needed changes (major only) to be made to work process system.
· Quarterly meeting with the owners to determine plant capability and expansion possibility.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
