Poway Country Preschool is looking to fill the position of a full time Preschool Teacher for our Preschool Stage 1 class (2-3 year old children: The class maintains a 6 to 1 ratio with a cap of 12 students in the class). The candidate must be available to work Monday through Fridays 8:15 to 5:15.

We are looking to find an intelligent, dedicated, responsible, creative, and flexible professional who can think on their feet, enjoys keeping children engaged in learning and will cooperatively work with like-minded individuals. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to multi-task, take and give directions in a quick and effective manner, communicate well with children and adults alike, and have a passion for teaching children to challenge themselves and build their skills, sense of confidence and love for learning.

Requirements include:

a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education courses

CPR and First Aid Training

Current Immunizations

Current Physical

Fingerprint Clearance or willingness to complete fingerprint clearance

Mandated Reporting training or willingness to complete the course before starting date

Pesticide training course or willingness to complete the course before starting date

Following safety protocol and procedures while interacting with children

Providing age appropriate curriculum throughout the day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
