We are looking for a passionate and driven Front Desk Sales Associate to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work with our dynamic group of clinical and non-clinical staff, all determined to do the right thing for our patients. All daily operations are busy and fast-paced in order to best serve our patients. A positive frame of mind and willingness to learn are key to success in this position.
Having previous experience working in a fast-paced and supportive specialty office is a plus. You will gain experience working in a weight management clinic offering bariatric and general surgery. This is your chance to go above and beyond for your patients and fellow employees and provide support to our top-notch providers.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone, answering any inquiries, and directing incoming calls to office staff.
- Acting as the main sales point of contact for potential cash-pay patients
- Ability to explain all appropriate offerings to potential patients
- Scheduling appointments.
- Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
- Reviewing daily schedules for errors such as missing new patient forms and/or insurance information.
- Keeping a clean, calm, and welcoming reception area.
- Processing payments using medical electronic health record software.
- Faxing, scanning, assigning, and mailing documentation.
- Comforting distressed patients – this may range from simply fixing any appointment issues that may arise, through to being the voice of comfort during times of stress.
- Equipment sterilization and cleaning.
- Maintaining information confidentiality at all times.
- Liaising with other medical practices with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required.
- Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in self-pay packages and memberships.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
