About the Position:

Director Duties: 

• Maintain cooperative working relationships with departmental personnel, including staff, MD, University and Potomac Healthcare Solutions. 
• Establish work priorities and action plans to complete daily routines, responsibilities, activities, projects or assignments, provide recommendations and implement workflow improvements.
• Compose business correspondence, monitor external/internal communications, and address communications in an expeditious manner to University/Potomac Healthcare Solutions including clinical and admin audit reports.
• Coordinate schedules, establishes agendas for staff, maintains office and medical inventory. 
• Collect and prepare information for use in discussions/meetings to include external individuals.
• Build/Input the web portal documents for the University.
• Help establish clinic P&Ps, nursing protocols.
• Observes legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding the confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.
• Help training new staff with EMR.
• Communicate with students regarding balances, requesting insurance info, and immunization non-compliance.
• Placing/removing holds on student accounts for balances, insurance info, and immunization non-compliance.
• Management including time and attendance, staff meetings, interviews, and performance evaluation.
• Oversee immunization compliance for the University.
• Managing concerns from students, parents and staff.
• Coordination with campus affiliated groups such as: Peer Mentors, RAs, and RACs. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a clinic manger in a clinical setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration or related field. Master’s Degree is preferred. 
• Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (i.e. Electronic Medical Records).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within both organizations.
• Experience in healthcare business concepts. 
• Must be a US Citizen.
