You will be supporting a small but growing team who works every day to fight for clean water through building a local, inclusive movement of impassioned safe water advocates.Job DescriptionPotomac Conservancy seeks an experienced Project Management and Strategic Planning Software expert for a temporary contract to identify, implement, and train staff on a planning and project management platform. The ideal candidate will have proven experience customizing project managements systems that supports long and short-term strategic planning and can reflect an Objective and Key Result style of strategic planning.RESPONSIBILTIESMeet with heads of all departments to determine departmental needs for project and strategic planning management system.Identify platform options that consider project management and planning style of the organization, ease of use, and maintenance costsBased on organization’s choice of platform, coordinate with platform on purchase and set up, including migrating existing planning and project management information (currently collected in Microsoft Office platforms).Develop S.O.P. for the organization in the use and maintenance of the platformTrain staff of use of developed system before April/May Annual planning processEvaluate and troubleshoot system after first use by staffQualificationsProven experience developing project and strategic planning systems for small to midsized nonprofit organizations.Ability to meet tight deadlines.Experience training staff to use planning systems.Additional InformationThis is a temporary, project-based, contract position and will report to the project manager who is our Vice President of Programs and Operations.
