Post Tech Manufacturing is Hiring a CNC Programmer Near Fort Worth, TX

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying programs that control the operation of our CNC machines. Your expertise in geometry, CAD software, and blueprint reading will be crucial in ensuring the accurate and efficient production of parts. Duties: - Develop CNC programs based on engineering drawings and specifications - Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to program instructions - Perform quality checks using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other measuring tools - Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize machining processes - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programming or machine performance - Maintain accurate documentation of programs, tooling, and setup sheets - Adhere to lean manufacturing principles to maximize efficiency and minimize waste - Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Experience: - Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role - Proficiency in CAD software for program development - Strong knowledge of machining processes, including milling machines and lathes - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings - Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) - Experience with tooling selection and optimization - Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision machining, we encourage you to apply for this position.
