Post Falls Quality Inn is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Falls, ID

We’re looking for a Front Desk Assistant to assist guests with their requests and balance accounts from the day shift. Front Desk Assistant responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. The Night Auditor also reconciles all accounts, processes invoices . Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly.

Choice Hotel discounts available after 90 days on the job with punctual attendance.

Shift openings include 3-11 and as needed 7-3, 11-7. Must be flexible to work different shifts as needed.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for checking guests into and out of the hotel as well as answering phone calls and customer inquiries
  • Checks guests into and out of the hotel in an accurate, speedy, and courteous manner
  • Efficiently handles all payments received whether they are cash or credit card
  • Ensures that all hotel keys are distributed to the appropriate parties and that guest privacy is maintained
  • Offers guests assistance whenever possible
  • Responsible for running the night audit reports properly
  • Answers inquiries about hotel policies and services
  • Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property
  • Ensures systems and procedures are in place and followed for guest safety and security
  • Prepares complimentary breakfast for guest(Night Auditor)
  • Ensures cleaning tasks are done properly and accordingly
  • Laundry

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Experience with accounting and facilities management software
  • Excellent math skills
  • An eye for detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • The ability to multitask
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability to work overnight
  • BA in accounting, finance or relevant field preferred but not required
