Positive Pool Service Inc is Hiring a Pool Technician Near Tampa, FL

Summary:Looking for experienced pool service technicians in Tampa Bay Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain pools including cleaning pools, checking chemical levels, adding appropriate chemicals to pool, and inspecting pool equipment
  • Understanding of basic water chemistry, filter cleanings, backwashing, algae treatments
  • Vacuuming, brushing of sidewalls, cleaning pump and skimmer baskets, etc.
  • Check on pool equipment and report any issues with the operation of the equipment
  • Responding quickly to and communicating clearly to inquiries from customers
  • Log all service with company mobile app
  • Troubleshoot problems
  • Requirements:
  • Must be well spoken, dedicated and organized individual with good work ethics
  • Commerical and Residential pool experience required
  • Great positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Maintain the highest standards in customer service and professional and ethical conduct
  • Self-starter who can work alone without the need for constant management. If you need to be micromanaged, please don't apply for this job
  • Ability to use smartphone and email
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Technical knowledge of pool equipment (pumps, filters, etc.)
  • Must have valid driver's license, good driving record, and be able to pass a background check and DMV check
  • No drug use.
  • Physical Activity Required on the Job:
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Be able to have degree of strength, flexibility, and agility to perform the Job
  • Conditions may require working in difficult outdoor weather, maneuvering in limited space and multi-tasking
