The starting hourly rate of pay is $24.98 for the probationary period of six months, then moves to regular rate of $26.98. You have 2 years from the date of hire to acquire a CDL license, and the required water licenses. growth and wage increase opportunities are available within this position
Our Water System Operator will learn to perform a broad range of tasks to ensure proper operation and maintenance of our water system that provides continued flow to over 200,000 customers. The successful candidate must have the ability and desire to function in a team environment, positive communication problem solving skills, and a willingness to learn. The position will develop the necessary skills of water distribution and transmission procedures, water plant operations, and water utility service.
