Job Description:

The Portland Foot Care Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Foot Care Nurse to join our dedicated team. As a Foot Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized foot care services to patients, assessing their foot health, and implementing appropriate care plans.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot health, including vascular and neurological assessments.

2. Perform routine foot care procedures, including nail trimming, callus removal, and skin care, adhering to infection control protocols.

3. Educate patients on proper foot care techniques and provide recommendations for ongoing self-care.

4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, care plans, and interventions.

6. Stay informed about current trends and developments in foot care nursing through continuous education and training.

7. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care protocols and policies.

Requirements:

1. Valid nursing license in Oregon. ( RN) or (LPN)

2. Certification in foot care nursing or related field. (CFCS). Will Train and sponsor certification classes.

3. Proven experience as a Foot Care Nurse or in a similar role.

4. Strong knowledge of foot anatomy, common foot conditions, and relevant treatments.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

7. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
