Position Summary:

Essential Functions:

• Communicate with sales personnel to identify and understand specific customer requirements.

• Delegate tasks, including picking, packing, and labeling instructions, to MTR associates to meet customer demands.

• Develop and provide training to new employees on the MTR database system.

• Perform regular reviews and updates of MTR procedures and policies to improve efficiency and compliance.

• Coordinate daily workflow to ensure timely fulfillment of orders using CSD and order manager.

• Monitor team performance metrics and set productivity and accuracy goals.

• Collaborate with other department leaders to discuss team needs, opportunities for improvement, and procedural changes and provide assistance if your department is experiencing slowdowns.

• Organize and facilitate necessary training and development programs for team members.

• Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, and overhead cranes, for gathering and picking pipe and fittings.

• Ensure accuracy in order verification and product labeling in accordance with customer requests.

• Process MTRs for products that require them, adhering to established policies, procedures, and quality improvement objectives.

• Using Order Manager, ensure that all MTR orders are being worked on and completed.

• Comply with all company safety rules, standards, and guidelines.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Completion of all onboarding ASA product knowledge courses.

• Proficiency in picking, checking, and MTR processes.

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with office and operations staff.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong mathematical aptitude.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

• Proficient in English for business communication.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse management.

• At least 2 years of experience in distribution order fulfillment.

• Proven leadership skills and ability to complete projects autonomously.

• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.

Required Experience and Education:

• Experience in at least two of the following areas: MTR’s, pipe picking, material picking, checking, etc.
• High school diploma or GED.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull 50 lbs.
• Requires visual, hearing, and speech acuity.
• Requires the ability to stand and walk long distances for extended periods of time.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures and elements, noise, and fumes.
