Our client, a stable and long-term manufacturer, is looking to add the right person to service their growing Mid-West customer base. This is full-time, permanent on-site position located in Parsippany.
The sales engineer will work with the business development team to assess the customer's needs and make recommendations for system requirements.
Please note this position is not available for sponsorship.
Duties and responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide
sales support.
Organize purchase of local parts and outsourcing of production modification.
Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
3 years in engineering or related field.
Ability to travel up to 30% domestically for on-site visits and attend trade shows.
