About the Role:

· This role reports directly to the CFO and supervises a staff of 3. The Controller will plan, direct and monitor the accounting operations of the company.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which includes accounts payable records, accounts receivable records, inventory activity and reconciliation, bank reconciliations, payroll. generating financial reports and analyses, managing the General Ledger records,

· Oversees training programs and identifies training needs.

Responsibilities:

· Manage Accounts Payable

· Oversee Accounts Receivable

· Manage Inventory reconciliation on monthly basis.

· Process Payroll

· Conduct Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations

· Manage Vendor Rebate programs.

· Manage brokers’ commissions and customers’ rebates

· Month End Financial Statements and analytical reports

· Reviews and ensures that all transactions are properly reflected in the accounting system.

· Manage internal and external audits

· Assist in Business Insurance management

· Assist HR with benefits and retirement plan

· Drive accounting process improvements through the assessment and implementation of new technologies

Qualifications:

• Technical Accounting Skills: strong background in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Accounting Systems: Should be familiar with cost, financial, and managerial accounting.
• Leadership Qualities: Manage accounting team and able to delegate responsibilities effectively.
• Interpersonal Skills: Assist building a positive and productive accounting department culture.
• Professional Development Drive: Strive to optimize accounting processes and business efficiency
• Sharp Eye for Detail: Detail oriented, and ensure all financial reports meet strict accuracy standards.
• Proficient with Excel
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• ​Strong organizational skills
• Experienced using ERP software: NetSuite is a plus but not a requirement
• Education minimum requirement: Bachelor or master’s in accounting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
