What You’ll Do
Port Health services provides one-on-one and group counseling for clients with substance abuse and/or behavioral issues. As an intern, you will complete your clinical rotations as part of a team on a 4-week rotation. You will maintain clinical documentation according to program and Medicaid standards regarding service provision, assessment, and progress reports.
How You’ll Benefit
This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, you will learn how to use skills acquired in school and apply them in a professional setting to gain a better understanding of an Outpatient Therapy service provider in substance abuse and medication management.
