Position overview

The Information Security Analyst for Porsche Cars North America, Inc. is responsible for supporting the risk and compliance program and the threat and vulnerability program. The position will support subsidiaries of the Porsche North American Group and report up to the North American Local Information Security Officer.

Roles & responsibilities

• Support with the assessment of vulnerabilities identified in scan reports and penetration reports to determine and rank risk.
• Monitor remediation and/or mitigation progress to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed promptly.
• Maintain an understanding of information security threats and possible impacts to the enterprise.
• Responsible for interpreting, understanding, and applying information security policies and standards to mitigate information security risks.
• Support the assessment of threat advisories to determine vulnerability and impact to the enterprise.
• Assist with collecting data on all events, potential incidents, and document findings.
• Track, monitor and report on vendor compliance with information security standards.
• Assist with implementation of supplier management tools and processes in coordination with the Procurement, Accounting and Legal departments to optimize the vendor review process.
• Support internal and external audits (including penetration tests and vulnerability management initiatives) - tracking audit measures, resolution tasks, and reviewing evidence of compliance.
• Conduct information security reviews of key vendors and all externally hosted and developed websites.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration
• Relevant certifications e.g., CompTIA Security , CEH preferred.

Experience:

• 2 - 3 years' field related experience in information security or information technology

Physical requirements

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
