This is a non-client facing role to support the Lead Designer on high end remodels and new builds. The most successful resumes for this role must have required experience, but also be creative, detail-oriented, organized, independently motivated and multitasker.

Must have minimum 1-2 years experience at an Interior Design Studio (not a retail environment). Must be highly proficient with Sketchup (3D) plus Layout for 2D * this position requires utilizing Layout (not AutoCAD) for project documentation. Will need to submit samples of your work.

This is a part time position of 3 days/week with a set schedule. Potential for additional days possible in the future.

• Help Designer prepare for client meetings
• Residential construction knowledge an asset
• Assist Designer in making proposals, purchase orders, invoices, utilizing Design Software such as Ivy or Studio Designer.
• Create construction/conceptual drawings using SketchUp and Layout
• Create mood boards to represent design vision
• Assemble FF&E and Architectural details for projects
• Purchasing experience. Requires brand familiarity
• Ordering samples and/or product and organizing based on project.
• Use Asana to track projects and document processes and workflow
• Social Media management
• Create and manage project timelines
• Corresponding with vendors, and subcontractors via phone/email
• Pickup and delivery of project materials
• Managing sample library
• Taking direction from management and design team
• Ability to follow protocol and standard operating procedures of business
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Ability to multi-task and independently follow up on unfinished tasks
• Has portfolio of construction/conceptual drawings
