POP Hospitality Group is Hiring a Chef Manager needed for Upscale Steak and Seafood Concept Near Franklin, TN

Come grow with us!! POP Hospitality Group is a unique boutique restaurant group that currently operates 4 distinctive Nashville concepts in Midtown, Franklin, SoBro and Five Points - The Row Kitchen and Pub, The Honeysuckle, NashHouse Southern Spoon and Saloon and The Treehouse.

We are currently seeking a highly-skilled Chef-Manager for our Southern-Inspired Steak House, The Honeysuckle. The Chef-Manager is a Brand Champion and reports directly to the GM of the property. The Honeysuckle specializes in Southern inspired upscale fare with a focus on Steaks and Seafood. We are proud to offer 21 Day in-house Dry Aged American Wagyu, Koji-Aged Filet Tenderloin, an impressive selection of Oysters from the East and West Coasts as well as the Gulf, and so much more; all set in a beautifully appointed dining room with multiple private dining spaces available.

As a Culinary Manager for POP Hospitality, you are responsible for the operations of your assigned venue as directed by the General Manager. This includes ensuring an outstanding guest experience, achieving financial targets, managing consistency in food preparation and presentation, staffing and development, and execution of safety / sanitation standards. The Chef Manager is a Brand Champion and reports directly to the GM of the property.

Essential Requirements:

  • 5 years of High Volume Management experience in an Upscale Casual or Fine Dining Restaurant with an annual sales volume of $4M or greater
  • Hands-on, Detail-Orientated and Career-Minded Management Professional with Outstanding Time Management and Inter-personal Skills
  • Guest-Focused and P&L Driven.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and think creatively to achieve results
  • Culinary Degree or Certification is preferred

Required Functions for All Restaurant Leaders:

  • Increase year over year top line sales through local store marketing and guest satisfaction.
  • Effectively manage venue operations to ensure an outstanding guest experience while achieving financial targets
  • Work hands on with the team, in any area of the restaurant
  • Promote Brand Integrity by adhering to all Company Standards, Recipes, Health Codes and all other Established Guidelines
  • Coordinate all activities for daily shifts, special events, and catering
  • Ensure unit is staffed to company guidelines. Responsible for selection, on boarding, training, and retention.
  • Responsible for planning and forecasting Labor, Food Cost and other Cost Centers as directed by the GM - Direct P&L accountability
  • Adheres to all Federal, State, and local laws in addition to Company policy related to employment practices.
  • Serves as mentor, coach, and trainer for Restaurant staff. Champion and adhere to all Company policies.
  • Understands chain of command and reports operational concerns / issues to GM.
  • Effectively delegates and follows up on selected tasks while remaining accountable for restaurant while on premise and away.
  • Promotes a positive, professional and harassment-free environment for guests and employees alike.
  • Experience with Restaurant365, TOAST, OpenTable and Excel are helpful but not required.
