Senior Account Executive

This is a REMOTE position. However, you must reside in Atlanta, GA or Kansas City, MO.

About the Role:

Are you a hunter or a farmer? Do you want to be the Cyber equivalent of Napoleon Barragan, Mary Kay Ash, or Dale Carnegie? Well, we are searching for a Senior Account Executive to join our growing sales team!

Your main goal is to drive net-new sales opportunities, while managing upsell opportunities within your assigned geographical territory. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with our Business Development and Channel teams from initial prospecting through negotiation and contract close. Use your extroverted, outgoing, self-starting, skills to meet or exceed your quota in this critical role to the continued success of Pondurance. Come hunt with us.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and/or exceed your quota by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities at mid-market companies.
  • Creatively source new prospects and thoughtfully position Pondurance offerings to suit their needs. Be a trusted advisor and an industry expert.
  • Stay current on competitor offerings to identify their strengths and vulnerabilities.
  • Turn client feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and address competitive risks. Influence client decisions and advocate for client needs to negotiate win-win solutions.
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with various functional teams including Sales Engineering, Sales Operations and Customer Success to ensure seamless implementation and effective ongoing account growth.
  • Leverage Marketing, Channel and internal BDR resources to develop top-of-funnel pipeline
  • The ability to travel up to 30% to be onsite with customers for QBR's, trade shows, and in-person meetings as needed.

Technologies:

  • Salesforce: Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity, forecast and opportunity information.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Extensive full cycle sales experience at a software or technology company
  • Strong track record of success driving revenue through prospecting, creating new business and sustainably growing existing business
  • Sense of Initiative: Acts independently. Anticipates needs, takes advantage of opportunities and flags problems in order to attain objectives.
  • Flexibility: Operates efficiently in constantly evolving environments and, when confronted with unforeseen circumstances, readjusts priorities to accommodate change.
  • Customer Service: Goes above and beyond to provide quality service to clients and seeks to sustain high satisfaction levels over time.
  • Results-driven: Prioritizes achievement of results over other needs, by investing the necessary resources and making all necessary efforts to meet desired goals.
