About the Position
Pond is currently seeking a Project Coordinator/Graphic Designer to join our growing Architecture, Engineering, and Planning team in New Orleans, LA. The ideal candidate possesses 2 years of related graphical design experience (internship, co-op and professional experience included) and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will prepare submittals for publication to Federal Clients, build templates for submittals, and researches new technologies to enhance the presentation of deliverables. The candidate will perform these tasks while working collaboratively under the mentorship of seasoned, licensed Architects, Engineers, and Planners. Design projects will span across multiple Federal Clients and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to graphical design. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter and can move quickly and efficiently through a variety of stages and deliverable types ranging from concept plans to construction documentation.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2 years of related graphical design experience (including internship, co-op or professional experience)
• Proficient with relevant software such as InDesign
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
• The entry-level graphic designer will:
• Create illustrative plans, enhancing visual communication.
• Curate documents and graphics, ensuring consistency and professionalism.
• Develop data visualizations, making complex information more accessible.
• Design marketing materials, reinforcing brand identity.
• Curate PowerPoint presentations, improving visual impact.

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on position offered.
