Pond is Hiring a Remote Transportation Planner I

About the Position We are seeking an entry-level Transportation Planner to join our Transportation Planning team in our Peachtree Corners or Atlanta Office. The primary duties of the Level 1 Planner include gather and assimilate data related to transportation, land use, and demographic growth and use that data to understand current trends and forecast future growth; meet with the public to understand and document public comment and preferences; combine technical data and community input to recommend policies, programs, and infrastructure improvements; and document findings and results in reports that are understandable to a variety of readers. A general understanding of urban development patterns and operation of various transportation modes is required, and strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Experience with GIS, word processing, and excel/databases is important for development of graphical and written documentation. Additional Information Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Urban Planner I with a salary range of $58,700.00 - $86,400.00 . Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on position offered.
