Expectations | |||
An Import Coordinator is expected to stay up to date on US Customs Compliances, willingness to travel for inventory audits, conducting and/or facilitating self-audits, and partnering with Customer Service on all Trade Purchase Orders issued. | |||
Responsibility | |||

Understand and follow all policies, rules and guidelines relating to ESSH | |||
Always wear appropriate PPE as outlined in ESSH policies. | |||
Report every incident or injury to your immediate supervisor | |||
Participate in incident investigations | |||
Identify any risks to individuals, the environment or the site | |||
Questions situations, processes or procedures that appear unsafe or put the site at risk | |||
Recognizes unsafe work conditions created by other workers | |||

Review and/or upload DBF files and Shipping Advices. Review and upload all Shipping Documents | |||
Ensure 100% compliance with all US Custom regulations, including but not limited to CTPAT and ISA | |||
Assist with annual CTPAT and ISA audits | |||
Complete and fully reconcile all third-party warehouses Quarterly (paper) and Annual (physical) within the established timeline | |||
Assist with preparation and facilitation of quarterly Customs Compliance Committee meetings. | |||
Conduct 100% audit of Trade PO folders, which includes final shipping documents and brokerage documents (Entry Summary, broker invoice). | |||
Conduct quarterly review of all non-film imports P.O. folders (issued by Procurement Dept). Report findings and follow-up on pending required corrections | |||
Coordinate with PUSA AP on addressing Import Vendor invoices in a timely manner | |||
Work closely with logistics providers (freight forwarders, carriers, inland drayage) to ensure successful delivery of film imports. | |||
Container Tracking Report – Responsible for maintaining CTR with accurate and current information (update weekly min; daily as warranted) | |||
Ensure designated backup personnel are fully trained and have the ability to execute duties | |||
Various report preparation | |||
Presenting data to managers and senior leaders | |||
Coordinating with department supervisors and managers for compliance information | |||
Special projects and other duties as assigned | |||

Technical Expertise | Proven ability to calculate, post and manage inventory reconciliations | ||
Proficiency in accuracy of work, ability to follow detailed instructions, and data entry | |||
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook | |||
Behavioral | Well spoken, able to speak clearly and concisely via phone | ||
Aptitude for professional written skills including good grammar and penmanship. | |||

Training Requirements | Continuous education on customs compliance and new requirements | ||

Education | High School or GED Required/ Bachelor’s Degree preferred | ||
Industry Experience | Work experience in Global & Domestic Logistics, US Customs Compliance, Inventory Control, and Customer Service. |
