SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Motivate personnel to perform at peak levels while maintaining a positive working environment.
• Achieve performance targets and goals.
• Conduct daily shift meetings.
• Conduct 1-on-1 employee engagement meetings at least monthly.
• Maintain close communication and share company updates with leads and hourly personnel.
• Identify and resolve workplace problems such as employee performance issues, team conflicts, and peer conflicts.
• Ensure all company policies are upheld as well as line specific expectations.
• Serve as a conduit of communication between employees and senior management including workplace issues

(personnel and production).

• Proactively communicate potential production delays, with solutions, to the Manufacturing Production Scheduler.
• Ensure all operator-conducted preventative maintenance tasks are completed in a timely fashion and work with the maintenance department to coordinate a scheduled PM plan.
• Complete ALL HR related documents in a timely manner, including payroll activities.
• Perform annual employee performance reviews.
• Assist in hiring and termination activities.
• Execute disciplinary/reward actions when required.
• Adhere and assist with compliance to OSHA standards and proactively implement hazard control proposals.
• Execute procedures, documentation and assures the proper care for any injured worker.
• Ensure a clean and safe work area.
• Other duties assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS – To perform this job successfully, the individuals must be qualified and have knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, team building, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Skilled at conflict resolution techniques.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Understand and accept the principles of Lean Manufacturing.
• Understanding of fabrication and assembly processes to assist personnel with challenges.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Desire to grow professionally and assume more responsibility.
