PolyFlex Products is a fully integrated manufacturing company that specializes in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of molded products for industrial applications. We serve industries such as automotive, vertical farming/horticulture, battery/electric vehicles, and automation/robotic systems. We have 5 North American facilities offering injection molding, thermoforming, tooling, RIM urethane, and cast urethane processes.

PolyFlex is eager to find a Tool Designer position at our Goodrich, MI location. This position is responsible for developing Plastic Injection Molds and managing tool validation, engineering changes, and manufacturing designs using Cimatron software. Duties would include developing and maintaining design templates, investigating part data to identify any line of the draw or back draft issues within part prior to tool design and leading design meetings, communicating necessary strategies to complete tasks.

What would help you obtain this position?

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in Solid Works or Cimatron software.
Ability to design and detail 3D/2D tool designs with actions.
Ability to manage multiple tool designs ensuring deadlines are met.
