RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assists in maintaining financial records
* Ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded
* Maintains, analyzes, and reconciles general ledger accounts including bank accounts
* Analyzes and summarizes financial information
* Provides inputs into department's goal-setting process
* Prepares financial statements and assists in budget preparation
* Supports month-end and year-end closing process
* Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
* Ensures compliance with GAAP principles
* Liaises with CFO and Controller to improve financial procedures and processes
* Manages accounting projects when needed
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* 2 to 5 years experience in Accounting
* Attention to detail
* Mathematical aptitude
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge of GAAP
* Proficiency in MS Office and sound knowledge in Pivot Tables, Xlookup and other Excel functions
* Experience in working with accounting software (Oracle Netsuite preferred)

Pollo Regio originated in Monterrey, Mexico and brought its authentic recipe for Mesquite-grilled chicken to Texas in the 90s. Pollo Regio was founded by Mr. Bazaldua. He set up a food trailer that was outfitted with a charcoal grill, over which he cooked his special-recipe marinated chicken. The demand for his chicken was so great that it wasnt unusual for him to out sell everything by noon each day and already had people placing orders for the next day. Rodriguez joined the company he became member and Chief Executive Officer. Pollo Regios principals have a great passion for innovation, efficiency, and the pursuit of the highest quality ingredients and products. Mr. Bazalduas legacy continues to be an inspirational and integral part of Pollo Regio for today and future tomorrows.
