POLITICO is in search of a summer Research Intern to support consumer strategy, product development, editorial, and advertiser research initiatives across POLITICO.This intern will support the work of the Research and Insights team, working closely with the Senior Research Manager and Research Analyst. We are looking for an enthusiastic college student with strong analytical and visual presentation skills. In addition to supporting our primary research across the organization, the person in this role will have an opportunity to get a viewed of the inner-workings of a rapidly growing global news organization spread across six countries. 

This paid internship is 40 hours per week and based in Rosslyn, VA. 

What You'll Do: 

• Assist in the design and development of survey projects, ensuring alignment with research objectives. 
• Participate in the creation of survey instruments (e.g., questionnaires and/or discussion guides). 
• Assist in managing data collection processes, ensuring high standards of data quality and reliability. 
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify key patterns and insights. 
• Create client-facing presentations that clearly communicate research findings. 
• Assist in maintaining community engagement with POLITICO's proprietary influencer research panel. 

What You'll Need: 

• Significant experience creating PowerPoint presentations. 
• Solid knowledge of Excel. 
• Experience with research and statistical tools such as Qualtrics and SPSS a plus. 
• Prior experience in survey research or data analysis is a plus.
