Job Summary
Manages inventory items and daily inventory control operations.
Job Duties
Reviews and analyzes inventory levels. Determines reorder points and ensures that sufficient levels of inventory are maintained. Coordinates with other departments in the supply chain. Analyzes actual product demand, trends and forecasts, and adjusts inventory plans accordingly. Handles customer purchase orders and reviews order requests. Communicate with vendors.
Experience and Education
Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 0 to 2 years of experience.
