Polaris Health & Wellness is Hiring a RN Assistant Director Of Nursing in St. Joseph Near Saint Joseph, MO

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced RN Assistant Director of Nursing in the St. Joseph, MO area to take the lead in organizing and supervising all nursing operations. Your primary goal will be to create a collaborative and efficient work environment, where our dedicated nursing team upholds the highest quality standards and patient care policies. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Nursing Personnel Management: Direct, oversee, and evaluate nursing personnel, including registered nurses, LPNs, and other staff members.
  • Coordination: Organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures to ensure efficient and high-quality care.
  • Policy Development: Develop and enforce policies that ensure legal compliance and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues and deficiencies as needed to maintain the highest level of care.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to streamline operations and enhance patient care.
  • Reporting: Provide reports and updates to upper management on the status and progress of nursing operations.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse: Proven experience as a Registered Nurse with a strong clinical background.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare to ensure compliance.
  • Commitment to Learning: Willingness to stay current with evolving standards in nursing administration.
  • Leadership: Excellent ability to lead, mentor, and develop nursing personnel.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and patient care.
  • Organization: Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage stress effectively.
  • Skilled Nursing Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking.
