Job Summary: As the Maintenance Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our facility's smooth operation and safety. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections, performing preventative maintenance, overseeing repairs, and managing contractors as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, particularly in the context of long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of the premises and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity of facilities and equipment.
• Handle basic repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Oversee contractors for professional repairs and renovations.
• Diagnose and correct mechanical issues promptly.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance, with a focus on long-term care facilities.
• Strong Life Safety experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• A related degree from a technical college is a plus.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Skill in using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
• Demonstrated experience in performing routine maintenance.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Professional presentation and attitude.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining focus.
• Excellent time management skills.
