Your team is developing industry-leading radar sensors including associated software and control units (ECUs). In your role as ADAS Project Manager, you will lead projects for the development of end customer-specific Level 2 to Level 3 functions such as the active lane change assistant or traffic jam pilot. The project you will lead requires your skills in leading distributed teams, as the majority of your colleagues work abroad. This is one of the largest and most important projects within Aptiv which is developed for a premium OEM. Aptiv is the strategic partner with very good customer contact and is working with them to bring autonomous driving into series production. Your Role: Leading project team meetings internally & on the customer side Project planning & control within the framework of the product development process & customer requirements Responsibility for the preparation and adherence to the budget Risk and escalation management Preparation of regular status reports for management and customers Development and initiation of measures to achieve targets with a focus on deadlines, quality & costs Main interface to the customer, coordination of customer enquirers Responsibility for timely completion of the product Running face to face meeting with customer on site Willing to travel on quarterly basis Your Background: Successfully completed studies in engineering - preferably electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable qualification Several years of experience in project management in the automotive industry, preferably with a software background Experience in ADAS with focus on functional safety (ISO 26262); radar knowledge would be an advantage Business fluent in written and spoken English. Very good organizational and communication skills as well as assertiveness Knowledge of business management Knowledge of software development processes and tools is an advantage Trustworthiness, commitment and dedication, initiative, flexibility, ability to work in a team Nice to Have: Experience with partnership with Middle Eastern customers Experiences in Jira , Polarion , ASPICE L2 Financial background System experience for vehicle integration of different ECUs and sensors Experience for supplier tracking and steering SW and HW background Why join us?
