Restaurant Keyholder

We are looking for a Restaurant Keyholder/Server to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes a great customer service. You should be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance
• Arrange to have shifts covered (e.g. when employees take time off)
• Help staff resolve on-the-job challenges
• Balance the cash register at the end of the shift
• Ensure client satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaints
• Open or close the restaurant (when responsible for the first or last shift)
• Report maintenance and training needs

Skills

• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like TouchBistro & Square
• Good math and reporting skills
• Customer service attitude
• Communication and team management abilities
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
• High school diploma; servsafe certification is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
