THE OPPORTUNITY

Pointe is seeking a highly motivated and talented Graphic Designer to join our Strategic Design team. The right candidate must be a proactive problem-solver, possessing innovative design skills and a willingness to collaborate on group projects. The Strategic Design team plays a key role in the development of client deliverables while maintaining the integrity of Pointe’s visual brand identity. This individual will work closely with the Strategic Design teams and engagement managers to provide visually stunning solutions for internal & external clients.

Pointe currently operates in a highly flexible hybrid office model. This is a full-time salaried position that will be located at our new Arlington, Virginia offices. Pointe offers industry leading compensation, robust benefits, and schedule flexibility.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Strategic Design is integral to Pointe’s success as a firm. As a graphic designer, you will work closely with leadership and internal client teams in elevating Pointe’s work. More specifically, you will:

• Collaborate directly with engagement teams to develop and design strategic client presentations and deliverables
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and deliverables
• Support proposal development and new client capture efforts
• Play key role in the development and consistency of brand image and deliverables
• Contribute to internal and external corporate branding, messaging, marketing, and communications design
• Develop internal community-building company branding efforts
• Pitch creative ideas that enhance projects and develop/build our brand
• Help create and support ongoing quality standards to ensure brand professionalism
• Positively contribute to the dynamic, high-achieving atmosphere of the firm

ABOUT YOU

Our team is fanatical about client service and personal accountability. We value individual contribution, creativity, teamwork, and humor. Additional qualifications include:

• BA or BS required in a design-related school curriculum with a clear track record of academic excellence
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in presentation and print design in corporate full-service environments
• Expert level ability presentation design and ability develop infographics in a MS PowerPoint environment
• Expert level experience in print, web, and presentation design, including PowerPoint and Keynote
• Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) to support creation of PowerPoint reports and presentations
• Experience in data visualization and web/UX design
• Working knowledge of website content management tools (i.e., Wordpress, Wix, SquareSpace)
• Ability to conceptualize and generate infographics from research data (video, animation, and motion graphics experience a plus)
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders and clients to understand their communication objectives and key messages
• Time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, deadline-heavy environment
• Must be comfortable following direction and implementing changes, while balancing strong design aesthetics and tight deadlines
• Experience in professional services environments (preferred)
