Point32Health is Hiring a Desktop Engineer Near Norfolk, MA

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to our clients. You will assist with hardware and software installations and upgrades, systems integrations and end user computer management. This position is mostly remote.

Key Responsibilities/Duties - what you will be doing

  • Responding to client support requests.
    Contacting clients to find out the nature of the problem.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
    Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.
  • Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.
  • Advising on software or hardware upgrades.
  • Providing basic training in computer operation and management.
  • Computer management with SCCM/Intune Troubleshooting and maintaining Mobile Devices with Intune
  • Supporting and administrating virtual desktop infrastructure.

Qualifications - What You Need To Perform The Job

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent
  • Proven work experience with SCCM/Intune
    Mobile Device Management
  • Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.
  • Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.
  • Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
