Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
• Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
• Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made
• Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, walls, and make any repairs as needed
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks

• Mechanically inclined with experience in building maintenance and repair duties
• Minor painting, plumbing, electrical, and drywall repairs
• HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Routine walk-throughs and inspections of commercial properties to include inspecting plumbing fixtures and lines, needed light bulb replacements, minor repairs for tenants
• Light carpentry
• Ability to work with a range of powered and non-powered hand tools
• Responding to service calls from tenants
• Compensated on-call rotations for after-hours requests (not all the time)
• Meeting and coordinating vendors

Qualifications:

• Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
• Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests
• 2 years of maintenance experience
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems

• Personal integrity, good communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
• 2 years of maintenance experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a government background check
• General working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Mechanically inclined with experience in building maintenance and repair duties
