Job Description

• Provide HARM missile test range support for developmental, operational, and Mission Data Optimization tests
• Operate government computer systems, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other special test equipment inside the HDCS
• Gather system test data, analyze the test data, recommend corrective actions concerning test anomalies, and provide test reports
• Attend Pre- and Post-Pilot briefings and answer system-related questions from the pilots and maintenance staff
• Analyze the live firing data gathered during the missions and provide preliminary results of each firing
• Identify all data products required for the Post-Flight Analysis
• Work with threat parameters for emitters for input to the ALIC mission data files (MDF)
• Update threat databases using 
• Plan, conduct, and report Performance Characterization 
• Optimize EW mission data software files by creating and using software simulations and EW laboratory facilities to verify and validate mission data prior to fielding
• Perform rapid reprogramming of fielded mission data in response to adversary threat changes

Job Requirements

• Must possess a Top Secret security clearance
• Possession of an engineering degree (must be received from a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and extensive (10 years) direct engineering experience and expertise working with the HARM weapon system, OR
• Combination of education and experience (college-level education, training, and/or technical experience)
• Experienced in operating special test equipment and government computer systems 
• Knowledgeable in gathering and analyzing missile range test data 
• Must be skilled in EW Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR) tools
• Ability to clearly communicate with present findings during briefings
• Good organizational skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described herein are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in a standard office or conference room setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer. To visit other company sites, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle and fly in an aircraft, both of which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time. Employees must possess vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas will be required. This position requires an employee to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance; reach, push, and pull drawers and doors open and closed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
