the girl & the fig in Sonoma is currently seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team.
Bartenders work directly under their supervisors and are responsible for preparing the restaurant for service, providing bar service during their shift, controlling liquor and wine cost, and ensuring consistency in our beverage program.

A Typical Day Includes...
- Share our passion for food, wine and hospitality with each individual who walks through our doors
- Create a welcoming and positive guest experience
- Prepare the bar for service and maintain a bar layout that is esthetically pleasing and efficient
- Ensure consistency in our beverage program and uphold proper pours of wine and liquor
- Uphold all ABC laws
- Communicate menu details to guests
- Access all functions in the POS system
This Job Requires...
- Ability to provide or complete CA Food Handler Certification and renew as necessary
- Ability to provide or completed RBS Certification and renew as necessary
- Applicable experience in fine dining and as a Bartender
Physical Demands...
- Ability to lift 50lbs and regularly move items between 10-20lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time

- Part-time
- Hourly wage for this position is $20 gratuities
