- BS with 10-14 years direct experience or MS with 10-13 years of direct experience. Alternate combination of experience/qualification & certification will be considered where candidate does not have a degree.
- Personnel shall have technical knowledge of Startup Testing, including experience working in the following technical areas/labor categories:
- Conduct of Startup Testing
- Design reviews
- Procedure development
- Test Execution
- Conduct of Operations
- Conduct of Engineering Conduct of Maintenance
- Demonstrated previous experience with the use and implementation of Manual 5E, Startup Test Program, and related directives and standards, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated personal accountability for facility/project schedules, deadlines, budgets, and the safe performance of work.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance.
- Demonstrated a minimum of 1 year of recent testing experience through support of the Department of Energy (DOE) or the commercial nuclear industry.
- Startup Testing Execution qualification(s) Level II or III, is preferred.
- Demonstrated previous experience in developing, reviewing, approval and presenting Technical Work Documents is preferred.
- Perform and document the results of startup tests performed in accordance with procedures, acceptance standards, and industry procedures. Plan and setup tests.
- Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of startup or testing for a project exercising independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, substantial adaption, and modification of standard techniques, guidelines, procedures, and criteria.
- Perform detailed design reviews and develop commissioning test documentation for projects.
- Review designs for plant operability, safety and jobsite commissioning. Assist with the preparation of operations manuals. Plan, guide or prepare project administrative and technical documents as required for startup, maintenance, operations or testing.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at different supplier locations.
