POSITION SUMMARY:The Project Manager II is responsible for the oversight of medium to large size projects and programs, including resource utilization, budgets, enforcement of project schedules, appropriate communication to all stakeholders, and the execution of project work plans. Acts as a liaison with lines of business and IT teams to expedite projects or problem resolution as it relates to product development, system upgrades and new releases. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Independently oversees all aspects of projects assigned to include due diligence, initiation, planning, execution and closing stages. Complete projects on time and within the stated budget.Define program/project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.Creates cross-functional project teams.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.A champion of cooperation and collaboration among department staff and other departments.Identifies and implements project changes/interventions to achieve on time completion.Acts as a liaison with lines of business and IT teams to expedite projects or problem resolution as it relates to product development, system upgrades and new releases.Works closely with Marketing and Training teams to ensure adequate communication and training is provided.Assists with developing sound project strategy. Performs system and workflow analysis to improve productivity and to alleviate bottlenecks.Identifies opportunities for business process improvement and makes recommendations.Performs system and process testing to ensure quality.Conduct project post implementation reviews.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification:Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business/system analysis, project management or equivalent work experience/demonstrated knowledge in managing projectsPMP (PMI Project Management Professional) and/or other related certifications preferredRequired Knowledge:Humility, empathy (Heart), hunger to learn, honesty, integrity, and confidentiality are always required.Strong verbal, writing, and listening skills; ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization Strong customer service skills with a willingness to assist others.Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and process improvement methodologies.Ability to provide guidance, mentoring, and instruction to others.Ability to work and travel independently.Financial and non-Financial Industry systems including, but not limited to, Core systems (Symitar), Customer Relationship Management systems, Online Banking and Mobile (Alkami), Lending and Account Opening (MeridianLink, Encompass, FICS), AI Online and Voice Chat Solutions, SharePoint, Web Applications, Teams and Microsoft Office products.Understanding of Audit processes and Regulatory ComplianceProject Management and Process Improvement Methodologies – PMI, Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile, Lean, Kanban Experience Required:3 years experience managing projects independentlyMergers and Acquisitions experience a plusSkills/Abilities:Ability to manage multiple work-streams and communicate roadblocks or concernsUnderstands the importance of bringing value to members (customers)Strong analytic and critical thinking skills and an understanding of competitive analysis.Excellent conceptual, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.Ability to obtain, analyze and communicate informationPossess strong interpersonal, problem solving skills, and creativity.Ability to work with all levels of employees at the credit union.Excellent communication, time-management and leadership skillsSkilled in coordinating system enhancements and development of new software, within project controls.Experience in working independently and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.Experience managing real estate projects, new construction and remodeling, new site launchesAbility to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.WORKING CONDITIONSStandard office conditions.Low to moderate noise.Limited lifting up to 50 lbs.This description has been reviewed to ensure that only essential functions and basic duties have been included.
