Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary contact for employees seeking technical assistance and support.
  • Provide technical support for computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and upgrade hardware and software.
  • Respond to queries in person, via email, phone, or remote access.
  • Manage requests via IT service desk software.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher levels of support.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call support.
  • Work independently and in teams with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards.
  • Coordinate IT matters for employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Identify and propose improvements in IT procedures.
  • Participate in IT-related projects.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation

  • IT Support Experience: Demonstrated track record in IT support, ideally within a network technician capacity.
  • Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with a variety of technologies including network switches (HP, Aruba, Cisco), MS Windows Servers OS (Active Directory, Terminal Servers, Print Server, File Server, Database, Licensing, SCCM), MS SQL Server, and others.
  • Experience with Devices and Tools: Proficient with Tablets, Laptops, Desktops, Thin Clients, Barcode Scanner, Barcode printers, Fax, Centralized Printers/Scanners, VMWare, NComputing, Office 365, MS SQL Database, Mobile Device Management System (Intune), RingCentral, and other relevant IT administrative tools.
  • Production IT Systems Experience: Familiarity with SCADA/IFIX/FactoryTalk and other Production IT systems, as well as knowledge of network video monitoring systems.
  • Advantageous Skills: Familiarity with network scripting and database query is advantageous, as is experience in supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehousing, and ERP Systems.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a Network/IT Support technician or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses preferred, such as CompTIA Network or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.

Salary:

$55k - $60k per year

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • 24/7 facility so may be on call
