PMC Global, Inc is Hiring a Maintenance Technician (FT) Near Howell, MI
- Performs electrical & electronic maintenance on manufacturing equipment including drives, motors, electrical panels, PLC, wiring, connections, etc.
- Reports to work on time in proper uniform; proper attitude and all required tools/equipment.
- Assists in scheduled PM's on machinery; Performs job duties in a safe, organized, clean, and efficient manner; work with production team when needed to support work order system; mandatory overtime may be needed during busy times and big projects.
- Works on new projects for electrical cabling of new building, office building, computer network cabling.
- Works on new projects for manufacturing equipment installation- all electrical cabling, setting up of panels, ensuring proper power supply.
- Develops and works on maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipment.
- Identifies requirements of spare parts, obtains approvals & places purchase orders after proper negotiation.
- Diagnoses and repairs problems within a timely manner; Makes adjustments as needed.
- Attends to equipment breakdowns quickly.
- Consistently practices lockout/tagout safety procedures.
- Be available on call.
- Maintains a clean and safe working area; Supports team members by assisting where needed.
- Performs all duties as instructed by supervisor.
- Minimum of 3-5 years maintenance experience or equivalent combination of training and experience in industrial mechanics.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Must be skilled in industrial maintenance repairs, planning, organizing, scheduling and monitoring the work capabilities of others. Safety and Security Consciousness.
- Must be able to handle required lifting weight.
- Frequent bending, twisting, and standing for the duration of your shift is required.
